The five-door hatchback model, the 2012 BMW 1-Series received a package that was revealed a few days ago. It includes different styling updates and also some performance enhancements. The M Sport kit comes with new aerodynamic elements like a new front bumper that features very large intakes and some aero mods too, even if this is not very clear yet. The model now runs on 18-inch Star-spoke very light alloy wheels, a different front grille and a special exterior trim. On the inside, the package offers Anthracite headlining, aluminum interior trim, some styling accents and last, but not least M badge door sills. The new model also has a set of front sport seats and Alcantara upholstery and a better suspension system to be sure there are no problems while cornering, lowering the ride by 10 mm. The price for the model on the UK market starts at GBP 22.510 OTR for the 116i and it can go up to GBP 27.820 OTR for the 125d. For the 125i M Sport you will have to pay GBP 26.030 OTR and GBP 27.820 OTR for the 125d M Sport. But if you think that the M Sport package is all, here is where you are wrong. The new 1-Series hatchback also features the Sport Plus Edition pack that offers Boston upholstery lines, Bluetooth / USB connectivity and also some dark rear lights.
