Several cartoon inspired cars will be auctioned

Several interesting and famous cartoon inspired vehicles will be auctioned; this is what some history people at Brooklands said. The special line-up includes the Snake Pit, the Bugaloos Buggy, the Bunkbeds that produces 600 BHP and last, but not least a Hans Trippel Amphicar. George Barris was inspired by the Bugaloos, a show that aired between 1970 and 1972 on NBC. He also created the Batmobile and the KITT. It has as base a VW model and its body is made of carbon fiber. Its price is somewhere between GBP 12.000 and GBP 15.000. The Snake Pit is actually 23ft long and it was built in four years. It features a Ford Cobra V8 engine and it can deliver 2000 horsepower. Its creator offered it 12 Holley four-barrel carburetors, 48 exhausts and the power is being sent to the wheels through two Ford C-6 automatic transmissions. Its price is around $ 100.000. Bad news for the Bunkbeds; the model is not working now, but you should know that it features a V8 engine that can develop 600 BHP.
