Japanese carmaker, Toyota has recently revealed the TS030 race car prototype. The model will compete in the LMP1 Le Mans class. Toyota Motorsport GmbH offered a carbon fiber chassis. It is powered by a 3.4-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine and it uses capacitors to store energy. Maybe this will help improve the hybrid technology. The racing premier will take place on May 5th at the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Untill June, when the 24 Hours Le Mans endurance race will begin, there will be two cars like this one on the grid. So far, TMG has prepared three drivers to take over the hybrid racer's seat. Their names are: Nakajima Kazuki, Alex Wurz, and Nicolas Lapierre. One of the hybrid car regulations says that the racer can only recover a maximum of 500 kj. Well we will just have to wait and see what the TS030 will do.
