BMW revealed the 2013 X6 facelift

German carmaker, BMW finally revealed the 2013 model year of the X6 and apparently it will go on sale this spring. The most important news on the model is the introduction of the diesel-powered X6 M50d of the M Performance Series. In terms of styling, you should know that the carmaker did not pay a lot of attention to updates and only offered a new set of headlamps, more pronounced kidney grilles, new LED tail lamps and adaptive LED headlights as an option. For the exterior the 2013 model brings new colors that you can see in the pictures and also new alloy wheel designs. The model is powered by a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 that is able to deliver 400 horsepower and the xDrive35i with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that can deliver 300 horsepower. The power is being sent to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The top of the range is the X6 M that is powered by a V8 engine and that delivers 555 BHP. BMW offers an M Performance Package for the US that adds 15 horsepower and 30 lb. ft. of torque on the X6 xDrive35i. The package also includes some 20-inch alloy wheels, shadow-line exterior trim, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals and a lot more. The European customers will only have the possibility to purchase a model that is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six diesel engine that will produce 245 BHP. The 2013 X6 will be presented to the public in March, in Geneva at the Auto Show.
