Lamborghini does not want turbo engines yet

Lately, the majority of the carmakers have been using turbo-charging and direct-injection technology in terms of petrol engines. The German Volkswagen Group started in 1990 with its 1.8-liter turbo-charged and not long ago it had managed to create the 4.0-liter V8 TFSI that is capable of producing 520 horsepower. Apparently, the Italian manufacturer, Lamborghini, will not use the turbocharged engines very soon. This is what the Italian firm's CEO Stephan Winkelmann said, but it is nothing sure yet. The future model, the Gallardo sports car, that is expected to arrive on the market in around two years, will not be powered by a turbocharged engine at launch. There is the possibility the carmaker would get a turbo engine, but around year 2020, before the end of its life, who knows. We will see what the company has prepared.
