All eight Phantom China Dragon special editions released by Rolss-Royce were sold within two months after taking orders for the Dragon-year Phantom in August of 2011. Hal Serudin, Singapore-based Rolls-Royce company spokesman, informed that the prices for the special model started at 7.4 million yuan, which translate into $1.2 million, adding that the model had its debut at the Guangzhou car show, featuring a handpainted dragon coachline on the side of the vehicle. The headrests of this mythical creature were also embroidered, together with hand-stitched cushions for rear passengers by making extensive use of four thread colours: White, Black, Golden Sand and Tan. Illuminated treadplates with "Year of the Dragon 2012" are expressed on the four door sills, being highlighted in LED lighting.
