California approved the Advanced Clean Car program

All California wants is to have a clean air and it wants this ever since the 1970s. Time has come to do more to achieve this and so, it managed to move forward and approved the Advanced Clean Car program. This actually contains a set of regulations that aims to reduce emissions and also it requires 15.4 % of all new vehicles that will be sold by 2015 to be all-electric, powered by fuel cells or plug-in hybrids. What California wants is to reduce passenger vehicles emissions by 34 % between 2014 and 2015.
Different car-selling businesses groups and the California New Car Dealers Association think that the Board is overestimating demand for zero-emission vehicles. The technology used in those cars raises their price by around $3.200 and the customers didn't really like it. More than that, it seems that even though the dealers are supportive of new technologies, buyers don't seem to be in a rush.
