A 1960 Corvette JRG will be auctioned

This year in Paris there will be a Bonham auction and the center of attention will be a restored 1960 Corvette JRG Special race car. The model will go under serious changes. Tom Falconer is the one that developed the 1960 Corvette and he is also the author of "Original Corvette, 1953-1962". Instead of the folding fabric roof the model got an optional hardtop and also it no longer has bumpers and hubcaps. The modifications are not made around the idea of racing. The owner it got in 1989 decided to use it in a race and this is why the rear arches were cut to fit the enormous tires. But this did not last a lot and so it was brought back to its original condition after a 12-month long restoration. Bonham's expected price is situated somewhere between EUR55.000 and EUR65.000. We'll know more after the auction.
