2013 Mazda CX-5 pricing was announced

The pricing for the Mazda CX-5 crossover has been made public by the automotive producer, as the car model is planned to make its presence on the U.S. market this month. The pricing is of $20,695, a price which does not include the $795 destination charge. The vehicle receives its power from Mazda's new 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline four-cylinder engine which raises an output of 155 HP at 6,000 rpm together with 150 lb-ft of peak torque at 4,000 rpm, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission or to a six-speed manual tranny. While the all-wheel drive is priced at $1,250, the first one is available as optional, featuring a price of $1,400. Three trim levels are offered to the customers, Sport, Touring and Grand Touring, comprising standard features that include three-point safety belts for all seating positions, six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, daytime running lights, Dynamic Stability Control, a Traction Control System, Hill Launch Assist and a collapsible steering column and fold-away brake pedal assembly.
