2007 Toyota Camry and RAV4 are investigated by NHTSA

It seems that the NHTSA is busy with investigations in this period. First, they fined BMW North America and now Toyota follows on the list. 830,000 Toyota Camry Solara coupes and cabriolets, Camry sedans and RAV4 SUVs, all built in the 2007 model year, are the subject of an investigation issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The reason seems to be represented by six complaints of a fire originating in the drive side door, which is most probably caused by a master power window switch that is short circuiting. According to Toyota, the Preliminary Evaluation Opening Resume was received and they are willing to cooperate with this investigation.
