The latest spy photographs reveal the GT3 version of Porsche undergoing tests, thus proving that the automotive producer is focusing on the various special models of the rear-engined coupe, after having launched the Carrera and Carrera S versions of the new 991 generation 911. This new Porsche generation will be a race car as the GT3 has always been on track, but, as a premiere, the vehicle will incorporate an automatic gearbox only. Judging by the fact that the company is testing both the seven-speed manual and dula-clutch PDK prototypes, it is likely that one will enter production, most probably the PDK will be chosen as it truly dominates sales. In either situation, the transmission will be used to channel around 450 naturally aspirated hp. The prototype captured in the gallery below features the typical GT3 front fascia, center twin exhaust pipes, but the specific massive rear wing lacks, while the air intakes on the rear wings appear to be fake.
