The successor of the 599 GTB is getting closer and closer, according to a rumor that announces the official debut of the vehicle to take place on February 22, following its presentation during a dealer and customer event, taking place a day before. Besides this rumour, two images have leaked and they show the rear end of the prototype together with a sketch of the vehicle, which comes from the Teamspeed forums. It seems that the vehicle is going to bear the 620 GT designation, but the officials have not confirmed anyhting so far. They informed that the car would receive its power from a V12 unit, while inside sources claim that a 6.3-liter V12 delivering 710 HP would be a choice. The unit will make use of a double-clutch transmission, and, unlike the FF, power will be sent to the rear axle.
