Porsche recalles 2011-2012 Cayenne, 20,000 units

Although Porsche is a company weel-known for its reliability surveys, it has recently issued a recall concerning more than 20,000 units of its best-seller, the Cayenne, thus proving that it can happen to important carmakers. A headlight issue has lead to the recall of 20,278 units of the SUV that were produced between March 8, 2010 and January 2012, affecting the Cayenne S, Hybrid together with the Turbo as the headlights that potentially detach from the fenders. Visibility problems can be caused by loose headlights and owners of the affected cars will be notified by Porsche in order to bring their cars to the dealerships. The vehicles will be verified and the problem will be fixed free of charge.
