The first details and images of the i20 facelift have been revealed today by Hyundai, showing new looks together with a new efficient powertrain. Just as the fans were expecting, new headlamps with "swirl" reflector, a new bumper with hexagonal grille, fenders and hood, constitute the brand's fluidic sculpture added to the new i20. Furthermore, taillamps and a new rear bumper fascia were added at the rear, while the new 1.1-liter 3-cylinder U-II diesel engine that produces 75 HP, is considered to be the most impressive upgrade, besides the lowest CO2 emissions of 84 g/km achieved due to the Hyundai's Blue Drive technologies. Customers will be offered a slightly more powerful diesel engine, available in the form of a 1.4-liter U-II 90 HP delivering 96 g/km of CO2. More details concerning the Hyundai i20's fuel economy figures will emerge when the facelift makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, tomorrow.
