In the next couple of years, three new cars are aimed to reinvent Maserati, which is under Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne's leadership. Their very first SUV will be represented by the Kubang, they will also launch a small sedan, while the Quattroporte will have a brand new version being launched. The most recent spy photographs have captured the full-bodied prototype of the next generation Quattroporte while it was going on a snow-covered track in Scandinavia. The model is set for launch in the later part of 2014. The bubble at the back should not be a concern for anyone because the test team was actually trying to hide the real shape of the car. Concerning the powertrain, either a turbo V6 or a Ferrari-derived V8 will likely power the first AWD Quattroporte ever with diesels further introduced down the line.
