Porsche developed Macan Compact SUV

Not long ago, Porsche developed the Macan model and it was now caught by different photographers. The new prototype features a very silly-looking head lamps and also tail lamps covers pretending it is the large Cayenne, but this is just a strategy to confuse us. After a good look we can see that the model totally matches the teaser sketch presented back in February, when the carmaker revealed the name of the car. The Macan is a little smaller than the Cayenne and the shove roofline makes also the difference. You should know that it uses the same platform with the Audi Q5. It is powered by gasoline and diesel engines and sends the power to a four-wheel drive system that makes the handling easier. Suspension and dynamic control systems also provide this. Nothing is for sure, but the carmaker might offer a 2.0-liter TFSI and a 3.0-liter petrol engines to power the vehicles, but also a 3.0-liter TDI diesel. There is the possibility of a driveline from the Q5 Hybrid. Production will start in 2013 in Germany. Source: carscoopblogspot
