The 2012 Mini John Cooper Works has been improved

Not long ago, Mini presented the new version of the Countryman, the John Cooper Works. The model is powered by a 1.6-liter Turbo engine capable of developing 218 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. It seems now that the entire range will get the improved version of the 1.6-liter without changing the output level. On the other hand, the JCW Cooper, JCW Cooper Convertible, Clubman, Coupe and Roadster produce 211 horsepower and the same 280 Nm of torque. The difference is the CO2 emission level and the fuel consumption which are lower. The power-plant uses green technologies like brake energy regeneration and a start-stop system. All the output is being transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission that features a paddle shift function.
