Alfa Romeo wins Concept Car Category at Concorso d`Eleganza

This past weekend, the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, in Italy, hosted the presentation of the Alfa Romeo's 4C sports car, as the clock is ticking for the launch of this production version. The eye-catching car model was the proud winner of the honors as the most beautiful machine in the Concept and Prototype class after having wun the votes and eyes of the visitors at the show. The two-seater model drives the rear wheels through a dry-clutch transmission, while power is delivered by a 1.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which raises a power output of up to 232 HP. According to some information released by Alfa Romeo, the 4C will weigh less than 900 kg, covering the 0-100 km/h sprint in less than five seconds, with a maximum speed of 250 km/h. Its production is planned to start at Maserati's Modena plant in Italy in May, 2013 and it will hit the markets from the States at the end of next year. Some rumors say that its European pricing will start from around $63,000.
