It is a well known fact that the Chinese automakers are constantly making copies of the wrong cars, unfortunately, remembering the pointless copy of Matiz, although it may have been a better product as compared to the original Matiz, which had serious flaws regarding looks, performance and safety. Recently, one of the Chinese automaker Dongfeng's subsidiaries that normally produce pick-ups and cheap SUVs, has chosen to copy the Cadillac SRX, making it smaller and nicer than the original SRX. It is likely that the car will be based on the previous-generation Kia Sorento and it is scheduled to have its launch in 2013, probably comprising a Nissan-sourced four-cylinder engine. The small engine will not encounter any problems in pulling it around as, compared to the SRX, the engine has shrunk in size.
