2014 Porsche 911 Targa was spy photographed

The latest spy photographs reveal a 911 camouflaged with a vinyl wrap in order to disguise its new Targa top and make it look as a regular convertible. So, Porsche enthusiasts should not be alarmed as the famous car manufacturer does not intend to replace the most character-filled cars it has to offer with a simple rag-top. The Targa design was first admired on the 911 from 1965 and it was maintained until 1994. Thus, the Targa seems to be a bit of retro styling as compared to the new 911 which features plenty of modern versions, as well as hardcore track cars. Expected to be a 2014 model year, this car is going to comprise a fixed roll bar in place followed by a huge glass structure, while the details regarding the construction of the roof remain poor, but the body of the prototype seems to feature the same body as the 911 Carrera Convertible.
