The Ferrari Enzo is now taking tests

Unfortunately for Ferrari and fortunately for its fans, more information on the new Ferrari Enzo, or also known as F70 was traveling in a British magazine. The model will go on sale next year and is expected to have its first official debut sometime before the end of 2012. The future model will be equipped with HY-KERS system that will help increase the power of the engine, but in the same time it will help reduce the CO2 emissions and the fuel consumption as well. Under the hood it will have a hybrid power-train that will include a V12 engine and an electric motor. The total output will be somewhere between 800 horsepower and 900 horsepower. All the amount of power will be transferred to the wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. With these figure, the new Ferrari Enzo will represent the flagship model of the automaker. The ones interest in finding out more on the new F70 should know that it will feature an energy recuperation system that will charge the lithium-ion batteries of the new supercar. The carmaker built the Enzo on a carbon fiber chassis and will be equipped with the latest technology. The aerodynamic will make it even more impressive. The carmaker hopes to be the most efficient car ever built by Ferrari and it might happen as it has 1.300 horsepower per ton power –to-weight ratio, so one of the best. The F70 Enzo can only run on electric-mode only. Of course, there is a totally different story with the production version that might not be able to do this. This is all the information the carmaker revealed so far, but stay tuned for more.
