The most recent spy photographs prove that Jaguar is making considerable efforts in order to put the C-X16 concept into production as the F-Type roadster. Looking at the photos, it seems that that some eye-popping design features seen on the concept have been lost, leaving behind a simpler car with less fuss. A pair of big centrally-mounted exhausts, which are similar to those seen on the Porsche Boxster S, were added to this prototype. There is no need to make suppositions about the powertrain as Jaguar has informed that a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 delivering 380 PS and 460 Nm of torque is going to power the production F-Type. According to some reports, the mighty 550 PS V8 from the XKR-S and a turbo four-cylinder for the base car, are also possible.
