After the presentation of the Lodgy MPV at the Geneva Motor Show, Dacia seems to be pushing the development process more and more these days. While the carmaker has released a photo gallery of the Dokker and Dokker van light commercial vehicles, it is also working on the second generation of the Sandero and Logan. Being based on the platform of the Lodgy, the two models, Dokker and Dokker Van, which are expected to be strong and reliable as the designation of these models comes from "dockworker", will be offered at a lower price, expecting the entry-level versions to be under 10,000 Euros. The Van version is capable of handling the transportation needs of two adults, as well as of hauling a lot of goods and the Dokker provides a five-seat cabin. Four engines, two of each religion, are to be found under the hood, beginning with a 1.6-liter MPI as an entry-level that raises a power output of 85 HP, followed by the turbocharged, downsized 1.2-liter TC3 that delivers 115 HP. Furthermore, two power levels of a 1.5-liter dCi unit, which provides 75 or 90 HP, are available for the diesel lovers. Certain top-class features, such as a touch-screen 7-inch display offered as part of the Media Nav infotainment system, are not included in the list of optional extras.
