The production of the VW Golf Mk7 will start in August

This year, in September at the Motor Show that will take place in Paris, German carmaker Volkswagen will introduce a new model, the next generation since Mk5, VW Golf Mk7. The current model, the Mk6 contains a lot of elements borrowed from the Mk5. Now, there are no doubts, the Golf Mk7 will be produced in Germany at the manufacturing plant belonging to Volkswagen. The process will start at the beginning of next month and the European customers will have the opportunity to see it closely in showrooms starting November. To be more precise, this is the second model released after the latest generation Audi A3 to use the Volkswagen modular transverse matrix platform. The evolution of the way the German specialists handle things can be seen on the exterior styling. The carmaker wants to increase sales and so, it does whatever it takes to do it. The Golf Mk7 is being offered with the conventional turbocharged gasoline engines, but also with diesel ones with a small-displacement 1.2-liter TSI to the 2.0-liter TSI. This last one is being offered in the GTI and the R AWD sport models. The new Volkswagen Golf Mk7 now it is available with a hybrid power-train with gasoline- and diesel-electric engines. Also there is a pure-electric variant available. The German carmaker did a very good job with the new Golf Mk7 and customers will show themselves for sure.
