Audi opened a digital showroom in London

The British and not only, now have the opportunity to visit the first all-digital showroom opened exactly in the middle of London. To be more precise, the new place is close to Piccadilly Circus. Audi, because this is the company we are talking about is trying to present all Audi models in virtual digital form. So, the fact that the showroom is actually quite small, it is not important. Customers can see all options available in photo realistic 3D in 1:1 scale. Normal showrooms encounter different problems when it comes to space, because not a lot of units can fit inside and so most of the time they end up with incredibly big places that are real money eaters. All these problems vanish with this new concept. The customers choose the model they want to see and they can visualize it right in front of their eyes without any space limitation. For the carmaker, this idea allows them to maintain a valuable place, situated in a very hard to afford location. Normally, in that area a big place would not be worth keeping, but with the new digital showroom, this inconvenience is no longer a threat. Inside it is clean and not busy at all. There is enough room for everyone to see what ever they want without feeling crowded and rushed. Actually Audi City managed to combine the digital product presentation and personal contact with the dealer in one smart idea. This is what Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at Audi GT, Peter Schwarzenbauer said. The customers are closer to the carmaker, easing their job a lot. The quality of their services seems to be at high levels. The ones who come and see the cars at the Audi City can also decide on the options they want, as the tailor services can be done here. The idea seems to be really catchy, but we will see what happens in the future.
