BMW Z4 facelift was spy photographed

The facelifted version of the Z4, which represents the only two-seater BMW has right now, is planned to hit the markets at the beginning of 2013. It appears that the life cycle comes after about four years as the current generation was launched in 2009. Taking a look at these spy photos, it is obvious that the front end is largely the same, instead of adopting the same design language as the F30 3-Serie. While the graphics will change for the LED "angel eyes", the headlights have not been pulled into the grille. It is possible that this is an early prototype and changes concerning the air intakes in the lower bumper and the bars of the grille, are also expected to take place. The camouflage on the fenders is justified by the indicators which will move to the side mirrors, while minor changes will applied to the rear, more exactly to the taillights.
