Hyundai sold 1 million units in Australia

This is an important period for Hyundai carmaker in Australia. The specialists managed to sell their one millionth unit of their new vehicle. To be more precise, we are talking about an ix35 also known as the Tucson among North American customers. The car was bought from the John Hunghes in Perth dealership, which is actually the same one which sold the first Hyundai in Australia around 26 years ago. This is a funny, but nice coincidence which delights the carmaker or at least this is what Hyundai marketing Director said. The lucky owner will also receive something extra with his brand new car, he also added. It is a little strange how the carmaker managed to sell 500.000 units in 18 years and how managed to sell the other half a million in only eight years. One of the reasons could be the fact that the carmaker established the Hyundai Motor Company Australia back in 2003, but also their products that inspire quality helped them sell some more. it seems that the Korean company recorded its best ever sales last year in Korea selling 87.008 units. This represents 8.6% of the market share. The nationwide network includes 150 dealers. The model with the highest success is the Hyundai i30 compact. The carmaker managed to sell 28.869 units only last year. According to different statistic studies, Hyundai is the 5th largest vehicle brand in Korea. The specialists can be proud of their achievements and can keep on the good work and the results will follow.
