Audi is doing great with worldwide sales

German carmaker Audi managed to increase its sales in the first seven months of the year. In comparison with the same period last year, they increased the deliveries by 12.3%, reaching 852.900 vehicles sent to customers worldwide. Last month alone, the specialists sold 119.600 cars globally, 12.9% more from July 2011. They are preparing the Audi A3 hatchback soon, and together with its arrival, they hope for a greater success when it comes to sales in the next part of the year. This is what Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG said. Apparently, the new A3 three-door hatchback will be available for purchase by the European customers starting with the end of August through different European dealerships. Even with the economic crisis, Audi managed to report a 5.5% increase in deliveries for July, 60.800 units to be more precise. Overall, since the beginning of the year, the carmaker improved its sales by 3.4%, managing to deliver 454.200 models. In Germany, sales increased by 7.8% to 157.885 since the beginning of the year and in Russia sold 19.320 units which mean a 40.1 % growth in comparison with last year. The main models sold are the A1 Sportback, the A6 Avant and the Q3, according to Audi. The German customers bought 14.500 units since January through July. Sales in the US increased by 18.2% to 76.865 units and in China we have the same story. In comparison with the same period last year, the company delivered 226.748 units which represent a 34.6% growth. On the Indian market, the German carmaker had a lot of success as well, registering a 49.0% growth. The specialists are doing just fine, apparently.
