Nissan Europe sales increase in July

Lately, the European market share shows an increase of 3.8% for the carmaker Nissan which managed to sell no more than 53,323 units on the Old Continent in July. Furthermore, this accomplishment was supported also by the increase of the Eastern European sales, which was of 15.3% with 14,540 units sold. As compared to the first half of 2011, when Nissan sold 419,665 units, the sales in 2012 are going well, registering an increase of 3.9%. The Juke was the best performer of their entire range of vehicles and it also showed a boost in sales by 13.8% as compared to last year. By the end of the year Nissan is aiming for an excellent performance due to the Juke and now the NV200. Nissan's doing well in Europe is extremely important as 3,800 jobs are ensured at Nissan's Sunderland factory in the UK where the Juke is being produced now. At this factory, the engineers used to assemble the old Micra as well, which would have provided considerably higher sales figures if it had been as good as the old model. Unfortunately, the current Micra didn't manage to rise up to class standards, when relating to quality and comfort.
