In 2014 Lincoln will be available on the Chinese market

The Chinese market will have a new brand to offer to its customers. Starting the second half of 2014, Lincoln will show its face. The specialists hope this will be a key market for their cars as the luxury segment in China is expected to double by the end of the decade. To be sure they will have success the carmaker will try to offer more individual and personalized motor cars. This big step, introducing Lincoln on the Asian market, is actually an important moment when it comes to serving customers interested in the luxury segment. The company will begin meeting with dealers interested in being part of this process of introducing Lincoln in China, in the 4th quarter of this year. Annual sales of luxury models are forecasted to be approximately 2.7 million units by 2010. A study made reveals that while many affluent customers in China are still motivated to display their wealth noticeably, they are evolving towards purchasing luxury for personal experience rather than as an outward signal to others. Lincoln Company was founded by Henry Leland and it was acquired by Ford in 1922. Even from the beginning, the models developed by Lincoln were known for driving innovation in design and craftsmanship. Nowadays, the carmaker is combining incredible cars with innovative and personal customer service. Ford will build five new plants in China. After this process is finished, the capacity of the company here will double to 1.2 million passenger vehicle per year. This strategy aims to increase global sales by approximately 50% to about 8 million annually by 2015. These are the plans the carmaker has, but we need time to see if they will manage to touch their targets.
