Europe will receive more global vehicles from Ford

About a month ago, before the Motor Show that now takes place in Paris, American carmaker Ford revealed a lot if its new lineup developed for the European market. In Amsterdam, one Ford official declared that the Mustang will be available for Autobahn runs and also for cobble stone street drifting. Unfortunately there are not a lot of information available on the model set to arrive in Europe, but soon will be released some more, Alan Mulally, CEO said to 2.500 dealers, reporters and enthusiasts. It seems that Ford America is doing great efforts to introduce more vehicles on the European market and fast. They have suffered great economical losses in the last few years and only in the first quarter of this year, Ford lost $404 million in Europe and will continue to do so if they do not take any measures. Instead of waiting for things to come back and increase the global profitability of the company, the carmaker is trying something new, well, at least new for Europe. They are offering the One Ford plan. This included a product based on many European designed vehicles like the Ford Fiesta, Focus and Transit Connect. Now, the specialists have developed the Ford Kuga, Edge and Mondeo for the European customers. If customers respond the way Ford is expecting, the profits will start showing in Europe as well. The models expected to sell the best are the crossovers and the sport utilities. The EcoSport will be offered as a second generation CUV and then the Kuga built on the new Escape platform will also reach the market. A redesigned version of the Mondeo will show its face and this will also include the 3-cylinder 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine and a wagon variant. This engine actually provides cutting-edge technology that will impress customers all across Europe, for sure, being capable of offering a lot of real benefits.
