Honda announced the price for the 2013 Accord in the US


We already mentioned the fact that Honda developed the all new 2013 Accord, but now time has come to inform you about the price list. The new 2013 Honda Accord sedan will be available in North American dealerships on September 19th and the retail price suggested by the manufacturer for the base LX sedan starts at $ 21.680. The price goes up to $ 33.430 for the Touring model powered by a V6 engine. Neither price includes destination and handling fees of $ 790. The new 2-door coupe will be available for purchase starting October 15th and prices will begin at $ 23.350 for the 4-cylinder LX-S model and will go up to $ 32.250 for the EX-L powered by a V6 engine with Navigation. These prices also do not include handling and destination fees. In terms of power train, the engineers offer it with a choice if two gasoline engines. The first one available is the new Earth Dreams 2.4-liter direct-injected 4-cylinder VTEC unit capable of generating 185 horsepower and 177 lb. ft. of torque in standard mode and that can produce up to 189 horsepower and 182 lb. ft. of torque in Sport trim, which is only available on the sedan. The other options when it comes to power trains are the 3.5-liter V6 engine that has as output 278 horsepower and 252 lb. ft. of torque. To send the power to the wheels, the carmaker offered three options in terms of transmission. The first one is actually the first-ever application of a continuously variable gearbox on 2.4-liter 4-cylinder models, then we have a 6-speed automatic one for the V6 models, and last, but not least, there is a 6-speed manual transmission offered for the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder models and also the 3.5-liter V6 coupe. The 2013 Accord sedan 4-cylinder models equipped with the CVT has 27 mpg fuel consumption in the city, 36 mph on the highway and 30 mpg on a combine cycle. The V6 models, on the other hand return 21 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg on a combined cycle. In terms of equipment, the carmaker offers standard alloy wheels, a rearview camera, Pandora internet radio compatibility and a lot more. The Touring variant features Adaptive Cruise Control and LED headlights and its price starts at $ 33.430. To expand it range, Honda plans to introduce two more models, the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid as well.
