Porsche has no problems in terms of sales

European carmaker Porsche revealed the number of units they managed to sell in August and also offered us very valuable information. It seems that the specialists have prepared a new model that will be introduced this month at the 2012 Auto Show that will take place in Paris. In terms of sales, the carmaker was doing just great last month. In comparison with the same period last year, they increased sales by 20.8%, managing to sell 10.912 vehicles. Overall, since January of this year, they sold 92.474 cars. This means a 15% increase in comparison with last year. The carmaker sold 3.026 units last month alone on the North American market, 38.6% more in comparison with August last year. On the Chinese market, Porsche sold 2.882 units. This represents a 28.4% increase compared to the same month last year. Despite the economical crisis, Europe was not left behind. The carmaker managed to sell 2.830 cars in August, up 12.8 % in comparison with 2011. Other models that had a lot of success last month are the 911, which sold 1.559 vehicles, representing a 29.5% increase, followed by the Boxster roadster with 850 units and the Cayenne with 6.331 cars representing a 36.0% increase. The carmaker will have to be very careful with all markers as they behave very different. For example, the European one is very unstable, in China they have to handle the competition. The North American one is looking quite good and South East Asia and Middle East markets have increased. The carmaker is prepared for every expectation depending on the market and customers they address their models. There is not way of finding out what new model they have prepared for the Paris motor Show. All we know is that the specialists have been working on the Macan compact SUV, the 918 Spyder, the 911 GT3 and also a facelift version of the Panamera.
