Buick Regal Sport Wagon

It seems that Buick carmaker plans to improve the Regal, but not with a minor facelift, but with some major modifications. So far, we managed to get our hand on some spy photos of the prototype for the Buick Regal that has a station wagon body. The photos were taken during some tests on hot weather in the Death Valley in California, not long ago. The Opel Insignia Sports Tourer is now available for purchase overseas and will also receive some modifications. How do we know it is the Regal and not the Insignia Sports Tourer? Well, thanks to the well-known Regal wheel pattern and the rest of the Buick vehicles that are also being tested alongside it, we can say for sure it is the Regal. Unfortunately there is no information on the date the facelift version of the Buick range, including the Buick Regal Sport Wagon will be available in showrooms.

Different specialists say the models might be launched sometime next year as a 2014 model. There is not a lot of information available on the 2014 Buick Regal. Previous photos of prototypes for the sedan showed us some elements like the grille, bumper and taillights, all of them being updated. In terms of interior, the specialists might also offer some improvements. We expect to see higher-quality materials, capacitive touch controls on a better center stack and for the ambiance, new LED lighting.

The Buick Regal Sport Wagon will have the same wheelbase like the sedan and storage space should be approximately 19 cubic feet. It might be revealed within the next six months at an important American auto show. This is not the only model that will be produced. The upcoming Opel Cascada has been spotted testing in the US. Different rumors say it will go on sale as a Buick on local markets. motorauthority
