Mazda is getting ready for the LA Auto Show

This year at the LA Auto Show, a lot of carmakers will check in trying to present their latest achievements. One of them is the Japanese manufacturer, Mazda which will bring into our attention the new Mazda6 mid-size sedan which was in fact developed for the North American market and which will be available for sale here starting first thing next year. The all-new Mazda6 will be equipped with a new SKYACTIVE-G 2.5-liter gasoline engine, but also a lot more technological elements. To be more precise, we are talking about the Smart City Brake Support system that was designed to mitigate front-end collisions at low speeds. There is also the i-ELOOP system that can regenerate the energy from braking this way improving the fuel consumption.

Mazda will also offer the CX-5 as a 2014 model and will feature an improved Technology Package, but only for the Grand Touring and the Touring. This model will also go on sale in January 2013.

Next on the list, we have the 2013 Mazda CX-9. We had the opportunity to see it for the first time last month at the Sydney Motor Show. The specialists have provided a new front fascia, tail lamps and also a rear bumper. The interior was improved as well.

The only really new model that will be introduced at the Los Angeles International Motor Show is the yet unnamed competition race car that will make its motorsports debut at the 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona in January. This model actually receives power from a turbocharged SKYACTIVE-D 2.2-liter diesel engine.

There will be a great show performed by all Mazda models showcased at the Auto Show before the end of this month, on the 29th of November, to be more precise. carscoop.blogspot
