Mazda is doing great in terms of sales

Japanese carmaker Mazda managed to win a lot of customers over with its cars in the last eight years, starting with the MX-5 Miata, the CX-5 and the Mazda3 all offer great feeling to all their drivers. Even so, the specialists are not pleased with their results in terms of sales. Of course, they admit that November sales were almost 22.000 vehicles, the best they have experienced in November since 1994. Also, they admit sales have increased since the beginning of the year by 9.1 %. What Mazda really wants is to increase sales by 2015 to 400.000, up from 280.000 this year.

This year, at the Los Angeles International Motor Show, Mazda revealed the all-new-Mazda6, a model that was seriously upgraded to face the toughest competition like VW, Honda, Ford and Nissan. The Mazda6 will be launched with a clean-diesel version. To help the carmaker in terms of quality a study has been made to see exactly where it stands. It has 97 problems per 100 vehicles compared with an average of 102. This is actually better than Hyundai, Audi, Subaru, Ford and the German Volkswagen. The company will be operationally profitable in the current fiscal year for the first time since 2008 when the economic crisis sapped the whole industry.

The carmaker is getting close to selling 15 million units this year and apparently where the industry is likely to hover for the next three years, the Japanese manufacturer is going to have conquest some other brands to reach their targets of 120.000 units sold, mentioned above. Germans from Volkswagen are starting to improve in this aspect as well, but Toyota, Nissan and Honda are not doing very well. Mazda will find its place in Detroit. The new Mazda6 might bring the numbers Japanese officials hope for. autoblog
