At the Barrett-Jackson Bush will auction his Ford F-150

It seems that one 2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4 SuperCrew previously owned by President George W. Bush will be auctioned at Greatest Collector Car Auctions in the World, the Barrett-Jackson. The event will take place starting the 13th of January and will end on the 20th, 2013. The money raised will go towards the Fisher House Foundation, a national program that dedicates its action to military families in America.

The ones interested in entering the so called competition that will get them the F-150 should know that Bush used this white car at his Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas since 2009, when he left the White House. The model receives power from a 5.4-liter V8 engine capable of generating 310 horsepower. It has a luxury leather interior and 11.200 lbs towing capacity. The well-known family used the truck to work around their ranch, give tours of their Crawford property and entertain friends, family and dignitaries. The Fisher House Foundation is very grateful to the former US President for the generous donation. This auction represents a true opportunity to own a piece of presidential automotive history. The title is the name of the former President and will be transferred to the buyer. Extra, the right airbag panel contains the signature of the President Bush and also a copy of a video showing him autographing the truck and driving it around his ranch in Texas.

The first vehicle sold at Barrett-Jackson benefiting the Fisher House Foundation took place in 2007 and was a CNN Hummer that raised $1.25. Not long ago, at the 2012 Scottsdale auction a New Holland Tractor owned by Jay Leno raised another $535.000 for the same foundation. Until now, $1.7 million in funds have been raised for the Fisher House Foundation. These are all the details available on the matter.
