The Hot List of future collector cars has been announced by Hagerty, the world leader in classic car insurance and now all driving enthusiasts should be attentive. The selections are made up of mass-produced vehicles available for sale as a 2013 models that cost less than $100.000. The models newly launched and which not appear on previous lists are the ones that receive special consideration as may become collective in the next two decades. The 2013 list contains vehicles from a wide variety of market segments and manufacturers, but all have one thing in common: car enthusiasts will remember them for many years to come.



One of the models found on the Hot List is the SRT Viper priced at $97.395. The model receives power from an 8.4-liter V10 engine capable of generating 640 horsepower and 600 lb. ft. of torque. Next we have Chevrolet Corvette Convertible priced at $75.925 which is the fastest and most capable Corvette convertible yet. Its V8 engine can produce 505 horsepower which enables it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The Audi RS5 is also present on the list with its 4.2-liter V8 engine capable of producing 414 horsepower. The $63.800 Porsche Cayenne also found it place on the list. This version is more powerful and more efficient, not to mention lighter, than previous versions of the Cayman. The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible priced at $59.545 receives power from a supercharged V8 engine capable of producing 580 horsepower. The Tesla Model S has a starting price of $58.570 and it reaches 60 mph in 5.0 seconds. The Mini John Cooper Works GP priced $39.950 is capable of reaching a top speed of 150 mph and it is the fastest Mini ever built. Only 500 units will be built in the US. Subaru also made the list with its $25.495 BRZ, which is actually one of the lightest sport coupes in the current market. Next we have to mention Volkswagen and its GTi priced at $23.995 and last, but not least the Ford Focus ST. This is the best small car found on the European market and it only costs $23.700.
