Porsche now owns ANDIAL

Finally Porsche managed to purchase ANDIAL, California-based motorsports and tuning house which exists since 1975. Its founders are Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer and Alwin Springer. These three have met while working in a Porsche dealership in Southern California and then left to start their own business. This was not a bad idea at all. The specialists have always seen the model as an official part of Porsche and finally it is now a true par. The men have played a key role in growing the prominence of Porsche racing in North America. The company did not reveal any plans on how the new modification will behave, but soon we will find out more n the matter. Insenhofer said that his entire career and professional reputation has been built on the success of ANDAL with Porsche and that this final partnership is the best he could hope for.

Some if the accomplishments of Porsche with ANDIAL include the 24 Hour of Daytona. Here the model was in the circle of the winner from 1983-1987 and again in 1989. The company also won the IMSA super car Series championship in 1992 and the IMSA-GT Championship in 1983, 1985, 1986 and last, but not least 1987. Porsche was also a winner in 1994 and GTS-2 in 1996 as it won the SCCA World Challenge championship in 1994 and won at Pikes Peak in 1994, 1996, 1997 and 1998. Besides racing ventures, the company developed street-tuned performance applications. In 2004, Springer retired from PMA and the other two reduced their workload, but did not retire entirely. They have dedicated their time to engine projects, restoring race or other significant cars and so on. This is a great story with the really interesting result.
