Expected to start production in July the coupe version of BMW 4-Series has left the guard down as it has been spy revealed during a photography session.
At the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) held in Detroit, BMW has presented the concept car for the now presented BMW 4-Series Coupe. The differences between them are not so eye sensitive, the 2014 Coupe looking quite similar to the concept.
A new comer can say at the first look that the model is a 3-Series one. But, as the name 4-Series suggests the Coupe version has a unique appeal and a distinctively style that shows more aggressiveness. As BMW guys said the bigger numeral (from 4-Series) is, the greater is the exclusivity too. Exclusivity is given among others by new ventilated front fenders, front fascia and taillights.
It is not sure yet how engine lineup will look but it is expected that 2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe will fit a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder with 245 HP (180 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque and the more powerful 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six cylinder engine with 306 HP (225 kW) that delivers 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. To set down the power to the standard rear wheel traction or to the customized all-wheel drive you can choose from the six-speed manual transmission or the eight-speed automatic gearbox.
