The most powerful Dacia Logan ever produced

Dacia will continue the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) Duster appearance and will run in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC) this year with the most powerful Dacia Logan ever manufactured.

Based on the Logan second generation the model hides under the hood a monstrous engine, more exactly a V6 that delivers more than 400 bhp (298 kW). The power is distributed to the rear axle and the engine is linked by a 6-speed sequential transmission. Official data for the Dacia Logan V6 performances are not yet released but using a lightweight body it weights just 2,425 lbs (1,100 kg) and it is promising a lot. For better aerodynamics Logan will improve its tuning in the wind tunnel.

Time is closing by and the V6 needs to be ready by 3-4 of May when the race season starts at Knutstorp circuit. The schedule is compound by eight races until September 21. Dacia will not leave Sweden not even in 2014 and a new race participation in announced by the officials. Dacia STCC Edition will challenge models like Volkswagen Scirocco, Chevrolet Cruze Sedan, Seat Leon and Audi A5.
