Tesla Model S sold beyond expectations

Tesla Motors is a company headquartered in one of the hottest points in the world, the Silicon Valley.  From there, it designs, then manufactures and of course sells electric cars and electric components. Tesla Model S is the fully electric luxury sedan created by the American brand.

Tesla Model S is by any measure a truly remarkable vehicle. Maybe this is exactly why the model surpassed the target that the company expected.  Tesla’s aim was to sell 4,500 cars, but the vehicle turned out to be more attractive to the public and it was sold in 4,750 units. And everything happened despite the fact that the company and the famous New York Times were engaged in some kind of a dispute. But any kind of publicity, either bad or good, is still publicity, so the altercation might have helped Tesla.

At the heart of the vehicle is the proven Tesla powertrain, delivering both unprecedented range and a thrilling drive experience. The American vehicle manufacturer decided to give up to the 40 kWh battery pack because the demand was pretty low. And, as a proof that it is a respectable company, the owners of such a pack will receive the 60 kWh that will be limited to 40 kWh. Those who have already ordered the small version can change to the 60 kWh one anytime.

With a rigid body structure, almost 50/50 weight distribution and a remarkable low center of gravity, Tesla Model S provides the responsiveness and agility expected from world’s best sports cars and at the same time offers the ride quality of a sedan.
