2014 Cadillac CTS Coupe is an uncertain plan

Founded more than one hundred years ago in Detroit, Cadillac was and still is the automotive expression of the American dream. It combines great performance, daring design and ultimate technology. Recently introduced, the Cadillac CTS might have a coupe version, though it is not yet a sure fact.

The officials of Cadillac sustain that the current coupe version of Cadillac CTS was a real success, such a big success that it seemed to be the number one selling luxury coupe in the car industry. This is exactly the thing that makes the company to take into consideration the creation of a new coupe version of the car, and also of a wagon variant.

The former generation of Cadillac CTS was specially created to steal customers who preferred BMW or Mercedes-Benz. However it didn’t have the expected result. The 2012 model was sold in 47,000 units while the BMW 5 series was bought by 57,000 clients and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class which was preferred by 66,000 persons.  Cadillac sets new hopes in their recently introduced CTS which seems to be a more powerful enemy for the German automakers.  A version of Cadillac CTS coupe will have to battle against the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and the BMW 6-Series Coupe. It remains to be seen which of the three will be the best.
