A new reduced model can be released from Land Rover and sold world wide. Diminished size can bring a lot off advantages such as unexploited market segments and clients willing to buy a vogue model.

John Edwards, the Land Rover’s global brand director admits that the company is taking into account the release of such a SUV. Into a recent press statement he said that he can see a sub-compact SUV working in all market and he doesn’t see a reason not to do it in the future. Until the new SUV will hit the road some guessing can be set. So, its length can be about four metres long with 30cm less than the Evoque version. Also is expected to share a bespoke platform with Land Rover’s Indian shareholder,Tata, and the Chinese guys from Chery.Regarding the power unofficial sources say that a new 1.4 and 1.6 liters diesel and petrol engines could be fit on the new SUV.

Willing to conquer the market on a global scene the Land Rover SUV is expected to have lower price than the next-gen Freelander and more than the Mini Countryman. So, for approximately 18,000 GBP the new Land Rover SUV will please all costumers who love to ride on a niche model.
