Fiat 500 Abarth goes automatic

Fiat is a company that has been representing Italian design worldwide for 50 years now. The Fiat 500 Abarth has a lot of advantages, but lacks automatic transmission and this might be the reason for which many Americans will have doubts before buying one.

The Fiat 500 Abarth is an irresistible and unforgettable vehicle. It has large glazed surfaces and a Skydome sun roof which allows the light to get inside it. Its rounded shapes give it a friendly and playful look that can put a smile on one’s face. Mixing traditional and modern elements, the Fiat 500 is a classy car. Though it seems compact enough, it is very ergonomic , comfortable and has plenty of room for some friends inside.

Much of the Fiat 500's front end has been redesigned in order to host a 1.4-litre engine with its turbocharger and then find a way of cooling it. The vertical slashes on the front and rear bumpers provide the brakes with cooling air. And the two exhausts are both functional despite the myth according to which on some performance cars one side is totally false.

So it might seem that the Fiat 500 Abarth has everything. However, the lack of automatic transmission is considered by many a minus.  This is why the company plans to offer an automatic transmission at some point in time.  At the beginning, Fiat designed it exclusively with manual transmission but since the customer desires one, the company is open to creating one.  This change has to make the Fiat 500 Abarth more appealing especially for women who were very reluctant in buying it.
