Hyundai Genesis spied at Nurburgring

The Nurburgring is a motorsports complex in Germany that owns a Grand Prix race track since 1984 and a North loop track which dates from 1920. Since then, it annually hosts shows where the most important brands in the auto world present their vehicles. Hyundai is one of these companies. And it took for testing in the ring the new 2014 Hyundai Genesis.

The new Hyundai Genesis has been spied while making some laps in Nurburgring. Although the car is wearing good camouflage some features are visible. Its image is completed by a prominent grille that resembles the HCD 14 Genesis concept, sweptback headlights, a dual exhaust system and wraparound taillights. However some critics say the vehicle is not very original, being pretty similar in look to the enemies Audi or BMW.

The powering engines of the Hyundai Genesis can’t be much of a surprise. They will be either a 3.8-liter V6 with 333 bhp (248 kW) and 291 lb-ft (394 Nm) of torque or a 5.0-liter V8 with 429 hp (320 kW) and 376 lb-ft (509 Nm) of torque. Both of them will be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission that can be paired to a newly optional all-wheel drive system. The present aim of Hyundai is to present the model at the 2014 North American Motor Show.
