The first patent released Jaguar F-Type Coupe photos match to the C-X16 concept

The Compact 2-seat C-X16 has rear-wheel drive coupe and a hybrid drivetrain. The model is using a 50:50 weight distribution between the two axles and measures 4,445 mm in length, 2,048 mm in width and 1,297 mm in height. Why we present all these? Simple, the C-X16 is a preview of the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe.

Most of the elements set on the C-X16 concept version can be also seen on the next 2014 Coupe. The first photos of the F-Type Coupe are patent released and confirm a good matching with the C-X16 concept. The exterior design inspires force and a four tailpipe exhaust system indirectly confirms this fact. Great looking muscular rear fenders add more aggressiveness to the Coupe look.

Under the hood Jaguar F-Type Coupe sets the same engines like for the convertible. You can choose from the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 340 HP (250 kW), or the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 380 HP (279 kW) and the biggest of all the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 495 HP (364 kW). For customers who appreciate more a reduced size engine the Jaguar engineers may fit in the 240 HP (177 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. With starting prices at about $85,000 the F-Type Coupe is quite a good bargain but you have to wait until 2014 when it goes on sales.
