The new generation Audi Q7 takes a strict diet

For the German company Audi, sustainability is an important objective that keeps it functioning economically, protecting the environment and guaranteeing a livable future for future generations. The four rings brand is one of the top and, at the same time, one of the most famous car producers in the world. Starting with SUVs, sedans, coupes they’ve got everything a respectable company needs. And according to the German officials they are thinking about creating a new generation Audi Q7 which seems to be on a rough diet.

The spies inside the company revealed that the next generation Q7 will weight 800 lbs (363 kg) less than the present generation. The new Audi Q7 will be introduced to the European public next summer, and to the American one in 2015. And as the trend is to go eco friendly, the SUV will also come in a hybrid variant. The manufacturing place is Bratislava, the capital town of Slovakia. It is the same place where the VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne are created. Besides this new Q7, Audi also plans to come up with a Q8 model that is scheduled to be realized by 2016. Hopefully the Q8 will be a worthy competitor for the Range Rover Sport. And a brand with the tradition of Audi has to do things excellent.
