2014 Hyundai Genesis spy photos at Nurburgring circuit

In the motorsports complex around the village of Nürburg the 2014 Hyundai Genesis has been spotted on the track. Here at Nürburgring we can spy the Genesis new version and even if the manufacturer tried to hide it, some features are coming to the surface. As John Krafcik, Hyundai's American CEO announced, the exterior has a Germanic design and a prominent grille. The outer look is completed with dual exhaust system, sweptback headlights and wraparound taillights. Some guiding lines are also kept from the HCD-14 Genesis Concept revealed at 2013 NAIAS in Detroit.

The heavily camouflaged 2014 Hyundai Genesis can easily be confused with a pure German sedan. The model will be probably powered by the 5.0-liter V8 direct-injection engine that delivers 429 hp (320 kW) and 376 lb-ft (509 Nm) of torque. Using the same 8-speed automatic gearbox the 2014 Genesis could also be available with the current 3.8-liter V6 that gathers 333 bhp (248 kW) and 291 lb-ft (394 Nm) of torque.

Although the luxury sedan will debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show it will be a serious competitor for all great markets in U.S., Asia and Europe too as Hyundai intends to have a diesel version too.
