Renault and Spark join forces

French carmaker Renault announced that it has signed on as an official Technical Partner of Spark Racing Technology to supply cars for the Formula E Championship. This new agreement was signed by Patrice Ratti, Renault Sport Technologies Managing Director and by Alejandro Agag, CEO of Formula E Holdings, but also by President of Spark Racing Technologies, Frederic Vasseur. It is very clear that Renault has proved a unique commitment to zero-emission mobility as it has four cars available for sale. Renault in Europe and Renault-Nissan Alliance worldwide are now the leaders when it comes to EV sales. Now, with the Formula E, the carmaker has the chance to prove its capabilities. This is the opinion of Philippe Klein, Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning, and Product Planning & Programs of Renault Group. The best way to promote the efficiency of new technologies is motorsport according to the specialists and so we are about to see something really special next. The talent and dedication of Renault extends in all Z.E. range and not only in F1. Renault is not just one of the leading car manufacturers in the world having an impressive motorsport pedigree, but it is also a pioneer for electric vehicles. As you all know, Renault is the first full-range manufacturer to market zero-emission vehicles. The new partnership with Renault is actually a new corner stone in a building harmoniously taking shape at all levels. Renault Sport Technologies, as most of you already know, is the only car manufacturer to design, develop and market a comprehensive range of sporting cars and other vehicles made for motorsport. We are looking forward to all the races. This is all we have to offer for the moment, folks, but do not go very far.
